This was made from 3cm Limestone slab, made to look like a solid piece.
Stone sink
One of our specialties is making custom stone sinks. We can carved them from a solid block, or fabricated them from a slab of your choice. Here is an example of a sink we made out of 8″ thick Calacatta Gold marble block. First we had to cut it from an 8 by 5 foot block. Then we carved the sink and added custom details. 
Marble Compass rose
We just finished this piece. The customer came to us with a design, selected the materials/colors they wanted at our supplier Crocodile Rocks and we fabricated it with our water jet machine. They were all 2cm thick material, but we milled the stone down to 1cm thick, so it would fit right up to their floor tile. Then we glued it all together and installed it in Bellingham, Washington. They chose 4 materials. Calacatta Vagli Antique, Verde Antiqua, Calacatta Gold and Black Galaxy granite. It turned out really beautiful!
Oiling your soapstone
Did you know when you very first apply mineral oil to your soapstone, it will look green? But don’t fret, after a day or two, it will oxidize to the true darkness it was meant for. Here are a few examples on a PA Original slab. The area on the right was oiled 3 days prior to the rest of the slab. The the last photo shows what the whole slab looks after 3 days of mineral oil. 
Gorgeous soapstone with lots of veining
If you’re looking for a dramatic countertop or fireplace, look no further. This is a soapstone called Arabesque. When raw/dry it looks almost blue with thin white/green veins. But if you oil/wax the slab, the overall color turns black and the veins pop with contrast! Its absolutely stunning in person. Check out these slabs, at Crocodile Rocks. 
Behind the scenes of an Onyx bar top
This is a bar top being fabricated from a 2cm Honey Onyx slab. Its laminated in 5 layers to form a thicker appearance. Its going to be back-lit once its installed.
