Eramosa Marble, Vein Cut:

Well here we are a rocking & rollin’ into week three with our featured stone’s and there’s no stopping us now…we’ve got quite the selection here to share with you!

This week we feature our Polished, Eramosa Marble 2cm a vein cut slab material originating from Canada. As with all materials this is a unique one mainly due to its inherent rich and earthy- mocha color tone. It is often a rarity in the stone industry to find a “brown” dolomite type of marble as such as this fine Eramosa. This material is available in 2cm slab form with a polished surface finish. It has been vein cut at the stone factory to further the visual appeal of the vein striations occurring naturally in this material.

Eramosa marble maybe used a shower surround, vanity, fireplace surround, flooring, wall panels, door casing…the possibilities are endless really!

Cheers to a fine marble like Eramosa!!!

We carry Danby Marble from the state of Vermont!

Danby marble is one of the most dense marbles around. Its because its very dolomitic, instead of calcitic like most marbles. Therefore it would serve well as a kitchen counter top. As long as it had a honed finish.Marble use in the kitchen has been in existence for hundreds of years in Europe. It has been only recently  that marble use for kitchens has been accepted as a viable option in the United States. Leading the way is Vermont Danby Marble due to its low absorption rate of less than .10% – lower than many granites. It not  only provides a technically sound counter top, it also provides the long lasting beauty and enduring strength of white marble just as Europe and the rest of the world has known for centuries.
Danby Marble is installed in a new kitchen every day in the U.S. with outstanding results. We are proud to be able to offer to homeowners everywhere a marble that is not only suitable for kitchen use, but equally beautiful.  Marble adds a sophisticated element to your home, and its wonderful appearance has a timeless feel.  In fact Alton Brown from Food Network’s All Star Kitchen Makeover selects Vermont Quarries Danby Marble as the Kitchen counter top material of choice for one lucky kitchen makeover winner.
